About the Clinic
The Operating Room:
Our operating room is large and spacious, equipped with comfortable chairs.
We provide satellite TV, movies and range of music CDs. The patient also receives candy and soft drinks during the procedure.
The nurses always ensure that the patient is relaxed and play light classical music in the background to achieve a soothing effect. Sometimes patients are so relaxed that they fall asleep.
Our Technique:
A technique must suit the patient and not vice versa.
Hair transplantation is like an art, where each artist has different instruments and colors to create the best results. And like the artist, the physician must use his imagination to envision how the patient will look after the treatment is completed.
In most cases, we implant follicular unit (FU) grafts. The decision of which graft to use differs according to the quality of hair, hair color, age of the patient and, of course, patient expectations. In 2002, we began using FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction), only in small cases (when the bald area is very small) or when the patients wanted to keep their hair very short. Today, we can pull out 600-800 FUE (1,000 hairs) in a single session.
Dr. Ginzburg always makes the incisions of the recipient area, and the nurses cut the grafts. Following this, one or two of the nurses assist Dr. Ginzburg to implant the grafts. The procedure lasts between three to four hours.
